Thinking of ways to pay for school, I thought of this and I'm not even sure if this is even possible but....
I've heard of hospitals having tuition reimbursement plans. If I were working at a hospital while taking my pre-reqs, is it possible to get tuition reimbursement towards my MSN when I finally go to Nursing school? (I already have a BA in an unrelated field). Just wondering if that may be the route to go if it is even a possibilty. Has anyone done something similar to this ?

I'm looking at this for when I go from LPN to BSN. Most hospitals around here do offer tuition reimbursement after 6 months of employment, but the amount per semeter is limited.

Happens around here all the time. Some hospitals pay your tuition 100% some pay less, depending on what schools they are affiliated with and their specific benefit plans. Some require your service for a certain amount of time after the schooling ends, some don't.
Call around. Its a great way to get help with tuition.
