Here is a website with information on loan forgiveness. If you work for a disproportionate facility you can apply for this. you have to give a two year commitment to the facility. I know Denver Health is one facility.
The government program listed above is extremely competitive. Most hospitals/facilities that I have worked for have some form of tuition assistance available for their employees. I worked at PVH in Ft. Collins as a CNA during nursing school and got 1500.00/year in tuition reimbursement - if I would have signed a contract to work for them for 2 years they would have paid all my tuition.
HCA hospitals (I think it's all HCA hospitals) will give you up to 250/month for student loan payments, you just show them your monthly statement. There's no contract/time commitment either. Of course, this is once you are already and employee!
Hi there! What are HCA hospitals? I live here in Denver and can't think of which hospitals those are. Probably will think of it as soon as I post this....SG

Hi there! Are there any Denver/Boulder hosptials that offer tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, or scholarships for nursing students? Do these programs actively recruit students, or are the programs strictly for nurses who have already graduated? I am looking for as much financial help as possible! Thanks so much! ~Fancy
