Tufts Medical Center - Boston

Published

Hi Everyone......anyone have any info or is working at Tufts in Boston? I have an interview for an entry level position and I was just curious as to the working environment there. Any info would be appreciated - thanks!

Specializes in LTC.

I only did clinical there, is it for an RN position? I liked my clinical (pedi) the nurses were great and I was able to see some pretty amazing things, but I don't know about the adult side of things. Good luck!

Specializes in Geriatrics, Transplant, Education.

I worked there as a student nursing assistant when I was in nursing school. Liked it very much. Was interviewed for a position on a surgical unit as an RN, however there were unfortunately no positions available after I passed my NCLEX. Good luck on your interview.

Specializes in ICU.

I enjoyed working there as an aide--saw and learned a lot. But, don't expect for aide employment to turn into a job once you're an RN. There are graduate RNs working there (who graduated and passed the NCLEX last summer) who are still working as aides... they are not hiring new grads. They actually just raised the RN/pt ratio and are hiring aides to pick up the slack.
