Work was good yesterday, had time during the day to get laundry started and do some vacuuming.  After work was pretty quiet, mostly just exercised.  Tried some fasting but got too hungry so had to cut it short.  Was looking at our library's Facebook page and was inspired to get a book pictured there, hope it proves to be interesting

Tonight will do the grocery shopping after work, otherwise should be a pretty ordinary day

Will get warmer today, in the upper 80s

J22, my arm is still sore from Sunday.  LOL

I got my next book to read, but forgot I have an unread book on my bookshelf that I was going to read next.  When I retire I hope to read more and I'll joint the library.

I got woke up at 5:15 AM with a notification that my Netflix bill was being paid.  I had an app that dings me when my checking account t is being used.  Not sure that's useful to me unless something shady happens.  

But I went ahead and got up and after coffee in a burst of energy worked furiously to get some chores done.  I meal prepped, cleaned and went to the grocery store.  I worked so furiously it's 11:00 and I'm done for the day and can relax.  Will hopefully catch a yoga class this afternoon.

Still hot and muggy in the low 90's.

I was awakened by the phone, with a message saying it was a collection agency for the Eyecare Ctr, and it said "tap here for secure chat." Well, I have a dumb phone that does not work that way. Getting in touch with the collection agency didn't work, so I called the Eyecare Ctr and apparently my Care Credit card paid all but $117 for my appt and glasses. I can go over there and give them a check and tell them to call off the collections agency. Much ado about nothing. I can trot it over to pay them tomorrow while BiL is here.

Nannie's up and she observes that the sun is very bright today....🙄 I always say, "Yup, that's what the sun does if there's no clouds covering it." (and there aren't). Supposed to be a feels-like temp of 90, but humidity is only 46%. 

I reckon I will do MY laundry today. Tomorrow is when BiL comes over to 'supervise' the tree work, confirming which trees and which limbs have to come down. Guess Nannie and I will be watching some of it....can't see the part of the woods past the shed , but there is a big tree about 20 feet from where we had the last big, leaning tree  taken down so we can watch that, anyway. There is a jumbo wasp nest on that tree that is on a burl which birds and squirrels used to use as a nest (first come, first serve, I guess!) The tree people will have to spray the beejeebers out of that nest before they can knock it down; good thing WE will be inside! (Spell-check just tried to make the word beejeebers into "beekeepers". Yeah, spray them beekeepers out of the tree!)

It is already 2 PM, so I suppose I should go upstairs to get my laundry; I have a new spot-treatment to try, for where I drip or drop food/drink on my "bodice". I really need to start wearing a BIB!

Have already given Nannie the warning that I will be watching the Harris/Trump debate tonight and want to LISTEN to it. The previous debate with Biden, I told her that and she was quieter than a mouse. (Spell Check says 'moose'. HAH! What do they know?!)

Hoping again for another quiet and dull day!

Hello all!

Last night was one of "those" nights, so today's plan is to work a nap in, and do errands (grocery store, and a couple other things we need). 

Fire is now 26,500 acres, and 5% contained.  We stay indoors as much as possible, due to the heat and the air quality, with all the smoke.  Gosh, I hate any fires, such a sad situation for the environment, flora, fauna, firefighters, etc. -- in a nutshell.  I don't mean to make light of the situation, at all.  Just so sad.

Tweety, w00t for you getting done all you did!!  Relax, now!  What book will you be reading?

I finished my forensic geology mystery series.  I may read an archeology-focused series next.
