Good morning!
Have a good day Joe.
In the early 2000's there was a website and I think it was called "e-diets" that you joined to help you lose weight. I was a member for a little while. You could put in the type of diet you wanted and it would come up with a menu for you. It helped me to lose a few pounds. Now there are many meal planners out there that do the same and make the grocery list for you, but didn't know there were some that actually connected to a store like Walmart. Pretty cool.
I'm a little down myself today. I think it's some post-hurricane stress and my impending trip to see my parents. I tried to call my sister and she didn't answer. I'm not looking forward to the visit but am glad I'm going. If that makes sense.
Woke up unable to sleep at 5:15 AM but went back to sleep for a couple of more hours and it's already past noon. I need to accomplish something which might help my mood.
Will meet up with best friend and go to the movies and dinner so that's something to look forward to.
Hi Joe, hi Tweety. I woke up at 2 am and couldn’t get back to sleep, so it’s going to be a long day.
I’m working at a monkey pox vaccine clinic today. My coworkers have a nice process where everyone is preregistered, and it’s they’re all getting their second doses so it’s going pretty smooth. And I get out of the office.
The weather is nice again.
Good Morning, except it is 2:15 PM. I stayed up WAY too late reading, So what else is new? Well, hubby is about to leave for his haircut and beard trim; he says he has not washed his hair or shaved or taken a shower for 19 days ? (since he was in the hosp. last time.) I guess it is a good thing I don't have a sense of smell any more! I hope the hairdresser can stand it! He said he will shower when he gets home from the haircut. He NEVER used to be THIS slothful. Maybe getting spruced up will lift a little of his spirits. Maybe.
I just made Nannie a p'butter and banana sandwich, which she is eating with her eyes closed. // The weather is decent, low 70's, sunny (the sun is very bright, according to Nannie.
Braves lost to the Marlins last night. Hope they whup them tonight!
I am too groggy to think of anything else to say---- Prolly will come by later.
I went out to get stuff from the pharmacy, groceries, fast-food restaurant for supper, gas station, and another gas station to put more air in the front/left tire. Hubby fussed at me, "Why does it take you so long to get back?" I wasn't dawdling, I had a lot to do. At the time of day I was out, there was bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic, and lines at the pharmacy, et al. Then he said "Can I ask you a question without starting world war III?" (!) It was this: "Why do you use your handbrake when you park in the driveway?" Uhhh, that was the way I was taught to do it, but I quit doing it because he always tells me it's not necessary. But sometimes my training kicks it and I pull up the handbrake after I put the thing in 'park'. Jeez. We aren't on a hill, but I was taught to pull the handbrake up, so the car wasn't 'resting' on the parking gear.
Ball game is on. Time for me to hush my puppies. (Wish I had a dog and a cat, but as I have to take care of everything these days, I don't need additional stress of pet-care right now. ?)

Tweety it's good that you have 3 days off, and decided not to come in
NJ22 glad your knee is doing better
Ado I've never heard of e-meals
Stars I'm glad you spoke up
Woke up with a headache this morning, not sure why
Yesterday was fairly slow at work, which was good. Was feeling a little down, but was better by the end of the day. I think I often use worry to avoid feeling sadness, but now with the mindfulness I'm less anxious and more aware of what I'm really feeling
Rest of the day was fairly calm as well. Did a little packing, stopped at the library and the pharmacy, and exercised. J is starting to feel better although he still has fairly bad allergy symptoms. Emailed with my aunt to discuss when I will be there on Friday
A bit warmer today, in the low 70s
