Tweety looks like a nice place for a hike

Stars that's good that he recognizes all that you do

NJ22 hopefully your sister will get an answer to that vertigo

Dianah good that his vision isn't too impaired

Another quiet day at work yesterday, despite getting a new case.  Hope this trend  continues,  when work gets really busy it makes it hard to think about anything else. Though someone is off today, though they might not be off the whole day

After work went to a local forest preserve for a hike and to talk with the leader of the environmental group about possible future ideas for the group.  Was nice that he's going out of his way to meet with people

Tonight after work the church group is meeting at a local Chinese restaurant, one  that I have not been to before

Will bit a bit warmer today, in the mid 80s.

Good morning.

I'm about to check out of the hotel on my phone so I don't have to stop at the desk and just leave. I have my boarding pass on my phone and can just walk up to the gate

Will have a cup of coffee with my parents before I drive the two hours to the airport.   Hope all goes well and I can get the dogs from the sitter tonight.

Hi Tweety & Joe. And those who peek in later.

I'm taking a little break from pulling weeds. I get a little short of breath and nauseous if I bend over for anytime at all. And I'm getting a headache. I went for a quick ride this morning, then met ds at an insurance agency to get him set up with health insurance. He is still only part-time so he doesn't qualify for it through his insurer, but he can get a subsidized plan through the state. He is finally willing to get checked for the genetic thing that I, his brother, and my sister have. And he needs to get a sleep study to renew his CDL license. And then I came home for lunch--eggs scrambled with spinach and hash browns, with melted cheese on top.

I finally got a call back from the specialty vet and scheduled the dog's echo. She wanted to book me for October, so I could meet the doctor. But I don't really care about that, so he's going in in August. This is to see if medication might help him. He has severe tricuspid regurg, so I'm not sure if that means heart failure meds or what.

My dd takes Vyvance, which is like extended release adderal. It doesn't make her hyper, but helps her focus. She really struggled in grade and high school, before she was diagnosed with ADHD. And we both drink coffee. I've tried energy drinks and don't like the taste or the feeling.

The weather is gray and cool, The sun should come out tomorrow.

Holy Jumpin' Crud!

My left knee decided it did not appreciate me taking it to the pharmacy this afternoon. It let me know when I got back to the house, I mean it felt like something stabbed me medially below the patella....it was screaming NO WEIGHT! NO WEIGHT! Had to hobble around for a while. Later when I got up off the sofa to put Nannie to bed, it bit me again, sharply! Nannie said, "Do you not feel well?" I told her I felt fine, but my knee was NOT! I discovered shortly after I left her room that if I walked with my left foot splayed to the left, I could 'walk' on it without pain. But walking like that is a pain in the neck and if I do it often, my right side is going to feel it and compensate for me being off balance. I suppose tomorrow it would be a good idea to have a crutch or both crutches close by, because I'd really rather not aggravate any part of me AT ALL! And I ort-to rest with it elevated, and alternate hot and cold packs.

Jeez, This hurts my feelings, because I really did enjoy being able to walk all last week with my (used-to-be-regular) long strides with nary a whimper from any joint in my body.

As my mother used to 'cuss':  "RATS, CATS, HAGS and BAGS!" And as senseless as it seems, it is quite satisfying to loudly growl that out with the emphasis on a vigorous tone of complete disgust.

Waiting now for the PM meds to kick in; I should have taken them between 8 and 10 PM. Hindsight's 20/20!

Tomorrow is another day----
