Tweety I remember my mom liked that song too, not sure if she had ever seen Evita

NJ22 glad that you found some techniques that give you some relief

Was tired and dragging yesterday,  thankfully it wasn't a busy day at work.  Had tea in addition to coffee, was bad and went to Wendy's for lunch, by the afternoon I felt better.  Exercised and worked on getting the old work at home gear packed up, since the boxes finally arrived

Woke up a bit early for some reason, think I was able to fall back to sleep.  Cat might have woke me up, which she rarely does

Hoping for a fairly ordinary day, and a less tired day

Will get into the mid 50s today

Good morning!

Joe hope you have a good day without fatigue.  Hate that feeling.

J22, Patty Lupone is a great singer.  Too bad driving is an issue.

Bowling last night was a bit aggravating as we bowled horrible and got defeated.  We won one game, which I think was enough to keep us in first place, but the 2nd place team won all of theirs and is now tied with us for first.  I'll be happy when we get defeated again and lose first place.  Too much tension.  LOL

Pretty routine day today.  Have a hot yoga class scheduled, mop, cook.  Watching a light hearted sci-fi movie on Netflix "The Adam Project" which I will finish up while cooking today.

Have a great day.

Well, HEY there! I can't believe I have not been on here for several days. No biggie, just not too connected with the rest of the world. Oh, except for reading all the news about Ukraine.

Nannie's been in a mild snit for two or three days but seems to be over it by now, but it seems the downed tree  is not being cleared away fast enough for her. We tell her that the guy who is cutting it up has a full time job, plus a lot of animals he has to take care of: multiple chickens, pigs, dogs. Anyway, he started in on the smaller logs, and piling up all the branches. Yesterday he worked for several hours cutting up the trunk and then cutting up those pieces into smaller ones. A lot of work for one man, y'know? Nannie wants to go out and rake the small branches up, but instead she will sneak and sweep the sawdust at the back door to the den.

Ozzie continues to sleep all day, and wake up for supper and again for a bedtime snack. He doesn't seem like he feels bad. But, he appreciates being carried up and down stairs. We periodically wake him up and take him outside to pee. I feed him his meal a piece at a time, to start, and then he cleans the plate once he gets going. And he is pooping alright. So I guess that's all a good thing. He really has become quite deaf, though, and doesn't hear us approaching him, so we wake him up slowly, quietly and easily, when we do get him up. The only time he is 'lively' is during his bedtime snack, for about half an hour. We have a routine we follow and he seems to enjoy it. I put out little pieces of a cheese cracker, and some little pieces of oatmeal cookie on a napkin on the bedcovers.....which he ignores UNTIL I start to peel my banana. I know too much of the bananas can constipate him, but he is SOOOOO crazy for bananas, so he gets a few small bites of it. If I am slow about it, he stands there moving side to side with his front feet, wagging his tail, staring at me with impatient and hopeful looks, and then does a few wuf's telling me to hurry up!

Hubby, on a whim, actually went over to his brother's house and 'caught him' standing in the driveway, no where to run... (twice in the past 6 months hubby had seen his brother out in public, who rapidly disappeared, like, practically knocking over a store display one time, to avoid talking with him.) Hubby said they talked for about half an hour; no hollering at each other like happened on the phone last year. No resolutions, but it made hubby feel better; but, he says, he doesn't expect anything to change much, though...as in, THAT part of the family will continue not to be of any help with Nannie's care.

Joe, how does one act as a lily-pad?  I was 'Miss South Wind' in our first grade play, had to pretend to float along in front of a row of students with flower-petal masks. As the South Wind blew on them (gently!) they would unfold and stand up. I hated it, but fortunately it was a short play.

Tweety, I've read mixed reviews about the movie you mentioned (the one w/ Ryan Reynolds and his younger version interacting). Haven't ever seen Evita, I guess because I had an aversion to MaaaaDonna.

Hey to j22, amoLu, BCg, Ado Annie, and whoever I might have forgotten to mention.

Hubby brought his and Nannie's supper in just now. He was a bit ticked when I told him not to order me a meal....I still have leftover chicken potpie from two nights ago, and 1/2 of a Philly Cheese-steak from last night. No sense in throwing them out!

Okay, all for now, and I hope not to leave posting off until it is so late in the night I just can't summon up anything to write.

A amusing thing heard in the parking lot of a strip mall the other day. I had just called in our supper order to pick up and had about 15 minutes to wait. While I was sitting in the car waiting for the time to pass, a lady and her little boy parked beside me; she was going in to the drugstore there. They had a cardboard sign which had been rained on and was slightly folded against itself. It was a sign that said "Get your flu shots here." The kid said, as he was getting out of the car, "Mommy, what's 'FLUSH OTS' mean?" She told him it wasn't flush ot's, it said 'FLU Shots'. and then she said, "C'mon, take my hand." Well! He snatched his hands and put them in back of himself and whined, "I don't want to get a shot!!" She told him it was just a sign that told people that IF they needed it, they could get a flu shot at the pharmacy. It took her a bit to convince him that they were only going in to pick up a bottle of pills. He said, "But, NO shots!"...she said, "That's right, no shots." So he finally took her hand and they walked into the drugstore.

FLUSH OTS ! ?

Joe, I hope you have a restful night. Tweety, I hate to hope your team loses bit if thats what you want... ?. My guys watched The Adam Project and liked it.

We watched the Red Panda movie. I don't have a strong opinion except that I thought they did a good job of capturing the complicated and conflicting emotions of adolescence.

Stars, that tree will eventually be gone! Truly it sounds as if Ozzie is having the best days he can.

Hey to everyone else.

Came home tonight to find Twin B with dinner almost done (Hello Fresh shepherd's pie). I helped finish it up and burned my pinkie finger. Why do little burns hurt so much? I didn't have big plans for the evening but have mainly been chilling with the cat while holding an ice cube in a washcloth. Remembered I had some benzocaine ointment and it has helped.

Was a really pretty day but I've heard something about rain the next day or two.
