Tweety I think my cousin has the same issue, she gets down when it's cloudy. She misses Colorado, which apparently is quite sunny
Stars I wish it was that warm here
NJ22 sounds like the weather we have here, minus the snow
Ado I find it important to limit attention and involvement in politics, and to remind yourself you have a lift outside that. I've found that candidates and groups will demand all of your time (and money) if you let them.
Work was busier than expected, with a new case and all of the work associated with the new files I received yesterday. But at least it wasn't as bad as Friday was
Was feeling off and having digestive problems for much of yesterday, but by the afternoon things had calmed down again and I felt more normal
After work went to the Thai restaurant with the gay group. Was a nice time and a nice restaurant. Don't normally order appetizers and dessert, but did so this time as a couple people who signed up didn't show, and the restaurant opened just for our group as they're normally closed that day
Today will be the usual grocery shopping, nothing else unusual going on
Will be colder today, in the upper 20s
"SHE" (we all know who) has been repeatedly falling asleep in the recliner and is fighting to stay awake. She spoke to me and I turned my head toward her and saw her sitting full-weight on the foot-rest of her recliner. YIKES! She wanted to go into the bathroom. Okay, fine, I got her in there and suggested she might as well go to bed, since she will be going there in less than 1/2 hour. But she said, "NO! I DON"T WANT TO GO TO BED!", I said, "Okay, fine, but I am changing your wet britches and I am going to put your pj bottoms on you now." So I did, and guess what? They don't "go with" her sweater or jacket. No matchy match of anything....color, pattern, material, etc., I had to convince her that NO ONE will see her, NO ONE is coming over to the house, we are NOT going out, and I am NOT going to put clean pants on her and then have to change them in 20 minutes, to the pj's. Whew! All of a sudden she is the one in a really crabby mood. Ppfftt!
Good Night Nannie! You can just go to sleep where-ever and when-ever you want to,

I like to do the Spelling Bee puzzle in the New York Times at bedtime.
I feel a little more hopeful after watching Rachel Maddow tonight. And I called one of my senators that actually voted to approve one of the cabinet nominees. Her local office phone mailbox was full, as was her DC phone. They'll be hearing from me tomorrow.
