Work was pretty easy yesterday, did get a new case but it was at the end of the day when most of the work was already done.  Hoping today will be similar

Had time during the day to do laundry.  As a result, and because I was out of broccoli, I decided to do the grocery shopping a day early and put Christmas cards in the mail.  Surprised at how busy the stores and roads were.  Got home in time to get some exercise in

Will have nothing in particular to do after work today

Will be colder today, I think in the mid 30s.  Will be getting colder, down to the mid teens by Thurs

Joe, hope you have another good day.

Had a long staff meeting and then my interview for the charge nurse position with two managers.  They asked a lot of questions. I think I did alright but they have a couple of more interviews to give.  

Otherwise not much going on.  The weather is supposed to be nice and warm today.

Noooooon-time. Kinda/sorta almost awake. Got up earlier to feed Momo and unlock the doors for when SiL comes to do the Nannie routine and takes her away for the afternoon. She just arrived and I hear her bumping around downstairs.

It is not currently raining but it is supposed to in a few hours. 

Have to go out and about.......I have a few things to do, so I'd better get started (though I'd really like to go back to sleep.)

I finally had a good night's sleep, although a lot of bizarre dreams that I don't remember. I went to the gym. Decreased the amount of weight I was using as my knee has not been happy since last week. The dogs stole an ornament from the tree and chewed it up. Doing some domestic goddess stuff today.

Dh tried to change up the menu for Christmas with the family, to simplify, but they want turkey dinner and the simpler stuff he suggested. Sigh. I feel like offering Chex mix and bottled water. I suppose we will purchase some pre-made food again. 

Trivia tonight, suggested topic of Vacation. Thats a little tough to research. 

I take MiL in tomorrow to get her other eye done.

Chex mix and bottled water is about what I would feel like serving if I was expected to make a meal for what could feel like a 'cast of thousands' to me.  I seldom 'do' Christmas like so many like to do it. A radio station had a call-in request for people to call and say what their favorite part of Christmas is. I didn't call because all the answers were so cheery and heartfelt; I woulda said that my favorite part of Christmas is when it is OVER. I am not a real Grinch, I just am too tired to pah-rum-pum-pum-pum at this point in my life.

I had a pretty fair day 'off'......I went to the bank, and then to get my nail-color changed, and to the grocery store. Whooooopeeeee. Just after I arrived back home, SiL drove up with Nannie. So once Nannie was in the recliner, she looked out at SiL's car and asked, "Are we going to go out now?" She pouted when SiL told her she had just come back and had been out all afternoon.

S'posta be getting a frog-drowning rain tomorrow.
