Trying to stay positive...

Hello all.

So I am re-applying to 2nd entry nursing programs in Ont this year.. I applied last year, but I did not finish my pre-reqs until this early summer. Because of this, I was waitlisted to all of the schools I applied to, and eventually taken off the waitlists w/o being offered admission (which is understandable).

This year, I am more prepared. I have completed all the pre-reqs with flying colours (A's in all courses). However, reading through all these posts have me very anxious. I got a GPA of 3.33 in my undergrad, and I am afraid that it's not going to be enough. I know it sounds cliché, but it is my absolute dream to become a nurse. I knew this was the career for me half-way through my first undergrad, but I decided to stick it out and complete that degree...

Anywhoo, I am just looking for some inspiring stories - something to lift my spirits a bit. Has anyone made it into Ont. 2nd entry programs without outstanding GPAs? Are there any schools where I would have a better chance of getting in?
