Hi everyone,
I am new here. I am planning to get the Kaplan Qbank or In-class? I been hearing alot of good things about kaplan that there harder than real NCLEX? I failed NCLEX PN 3 times right now I am studying Saunder's (Green) all ?s, Saunder's Q & A all ?s, exam cram PN, Prioritization by Linda A. LaCharity, and also NCLEX PN Flashcard by REA's interactive. But I am not sure if I should get Kaplan question bank to add-on to my study. By the way I read all rational and test taking strategies right or wrong. I want to PASS NCLEX PN for my 4th time, and I don't want to go back to testing center. Please help!!! God Bless us ALL. Thank you very much everyone in advance. :kiss

I dont think it would hurt. Have you narrowed down your problem areas and learned to stay calm at nclex time? GOOD LUCK :)!
Hi prettymica, thank you for your reply. Thank you! Yes, I am weak at safe & effective care environment(basically infection control & also SATA). I will try to calm next time & pray harder to my pass NCLEX 4th time & my last time. I will go ahead do Kaplan Qbank. Thank you so very much once again. ;-) tc

With God all things are possible Watch out using so many resources don't want to confuse yourself. I applaud your zeal with all those materials, start over like you have never taken it but pay special attention to the areas you don't know.
Hi BoiseRN84,Amen to you! Thank you very much for your reply. I don't know what to study anymore that's why I am here at allnurses.com because I need a suggestions what to study. I been through 2 review classes and nothing happened, and etc. Last time I took NCLEX I only have one below, 1 above, and the rest are near passing. I am studying on my below passing and followed the rest. I am almost done with all Saunders comprehensive cd ?s, doing REA's cd questions & book ?s, q & a Saunders cd ?s, I been scoring 55%(1), and the rest are 62%-78% in Saunders ?s. I already purchased Kaplan review because it was on sale I only pay for $249.00, the advisor told me why are you still reviewing the same material that you already failed, lol. She also said that you should get 60% and above before taking NCLEX. So I am hoping & xfinger next time I will pass NCLEX pn for sure. If God welling. I been doing questions right after I check PVT because i know i Failed it went all the way to cc page. Please, if you have any suggestions or recommendation I am open. Thank you very much! Take care ;-)

Kaplan is a great tool to prepare for the exam! I, personally used it for NCLEX-RN and passed with 76 questions. they teach test taking skills, not so much content ( you are expected to know your content)
please dont use too many materials/books, use only 1 or 2 -dont confuse yourelf and stay calm, its ok, you can do it...Practice makes Perfect
Hi Me2006, thank you so very much for your reply. THANK YOU! God Bless us. tc always. :)

The saunders book is good for content. So their questions are all knowledge based questions. Kaplan is all critical thinking and it is muchhhhhh harder than saunders. Some people even mentioned that kaplan questions are more difficult than the nclex.
Hi hotnurse408, thank you so very much for your reply. I decided to take KAPLAN REVIEW ANYWHERE with QBank plus book review last March 14-15, '12, and I like it alot. If I could compared it with my other two previous reviews to KAPLAN. Kaplan gives you alot of technique's and etc. I hope and PRAY TO GOD this is my last take and no more going back to testing center, and PASS NCLEX this time. If GOD's well. Please include me to your prayer. Thank you very much! God Bless us ALL. TC
