Hello,
Thanks for stopping in to read my post first and foremost.
I've worked in an outpatient dialysis clinic for 2 years, became preceptor during that time and learned a lot while obtaining my CCHT. I've been thinking lately, is it possible to advertise myself with the credentials I carry and help patients who would like to do home treatments instead of having to come into a clinic? I would have conversations with my patients in clinic that didn't enjoy coming in every other day and would prefer to do it from home but didn't have the one extra person they needed to actually make this happen for themselves. I've tried researching to see if anyone else has tried to accomplish this task with no luck on finding information on how to go about doing so.
This would help me with time and focus on completing my degree plan, it wouldn't be as stressful for me or the patient and also allows the patient to have treatment in the comfort of their own home.
If you have any information on this matter please feel free to share it. A link, advice or anything that would lead me in the right direction. I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you so very much in advance,
