I'm on the same boat as you, I live in CA and i gradatued nursing 6 years ago. I had some things happen to my life right after I graduated . I've failed the LPN Nclex 6 times, I have study but not hard enough and I have been close to passing. Went through some rough times and I did tell myself maybe this isn't ment for me. But I was encouraged by husband and family members to keep trying. I have now come to a point in my life where it is time to really focus and dedicate my time to studying. I recently added a post and some people have recommended UWorld. I'm definitely going to try it out. We can do this! Regardless if it seems far and possible. :)

Alright y'all,
For a little background, I graduated LPN school 2nd highest in my class and missed 3 questions on the HESI exit exam in AZ in Dec of 2014. I have taken my NCLEX 3 times and maxed out my questions every time, as well as doing a review to help pass the third time. I still failed after doing wonderful on the review!! I moved back home to MO, where I have been working as a CNA for the last 3 years. I've tried to test out of my Med Tech as well, but MO doesn't accept the clock hours that I did in AZ, they want credit hours instead, which will require me to take the classes again.
I recently have just become a new mom, to a daughter who was born with Gastroschisis. Spending the last month in the NICU has made me realize how much of a difference I could be making in other peoples lives, as well as my daughter's. I have also finally saved up enough to take my NCLEX again.
I have pulled out my books to start reading through again, and logged back in to go over my review again as well as doing questions through the Mastery NCLEX app. For those that have taken the test multiple times to finally pass, I would love advice and what everyone used to study, as well as any sites to work on charting (we still paper chart!!). I have to pass this time, I know this is what I'm supposed to be doing, and it's the right time. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much!
A workaholic Momma
