Truman College Chicago Nursing Applicants 2011

Does anyone here know why Truman College has extended their Nursing program application deadline from Feb. 1 to March 1? Just wondering what's going on. I submitted my application a while ago and am waiting........

:confused: What does this mean for hearing back from them after April 1? Last year they were 3 weeks late with their acceptance letters.

I know that the College of Dupage has stated that they may extend our application deadline if they have not received a sufficient number of applications by the original deadline of February 1. Perhaps this is what Truman College is doing?

I can't imagine. They had over 500 applicants last year, and all those students had met all the requirements, pre- requisites and also co-requisites. Did DuPage not get enough applicants? Strange.

the adn program at cod changed the deadline...it's being extended to february 18, 2011 at 4:30 p.m...i am sure there is plenty of qualified applicants, but they are looking for the "cream of the crop"...they focus to heavily on the entrance exam. they feel if you score high on entrance exam, you are more likely to pass the nclex. it's ridiculous...the entrance exam was so random and should be geared towards the prereq classed you are required to take not high school physics and random science questions ect...i hate waiting....
