I went to the Edison, NJ career fair and was thoroughly disappointed. I went prepared with a list of hospitals that I was interested along with questions. However, when I arrived at approximately 11:00am 90% of the exhibitors appeared to be on an extended lunch break. The only warm bodies were out of state exhibitors and exhibitors interested in financial investments. I had no choice but to walk around and write my my name down on their list and pick up the flyers they left on the table. Instead of indicating that the exhibit hall was from 9:30a-2:30p, I wished they had let us know what times they would not be available. Next time I will there as soon the doors open or risk wasting precious time.
