TriStar Nurse Residency Program

Published

Hey ya'll! I was just wondering who out there applied for the nurse residency program in Nashville, Tennessee TriStar Division. I know on the website it says that notification begins April 19th, but is this the for sure day that they will start notifying us? It just seems a little late!

Thanks :)

Don't worry it was from Southern Hills!

Ohhhh lol thank you!!

Do y'all have any idea of what the base pay is like? I've seen some numbers but they are from posts a few years back.

I have no idea! All I know is weekend differential is $5

I'm confused as to why you would ask on a general nursing forum about this. The only valid source of information for you to use is from the program itself.

You're right! But I haven't spoken to an HR recruiter through this whole process, so I'm unsure of who my contact would be. Pay was not brought up during the interviews and it comes off as a taboo subject to bring up. So, I guess my next to-do item is figure out who I can ask about it!

Which question are you confused about? The only reason I asked is because no contact has given me info about whether they notify early and some people ask this question and I knew people out there had interviewed for TriStar who may have more information. I am moving from out of state, so the earlier the better. Sorry for the confusion for you

I was told that it was around $23-24/hr, but I don't know what it officially is

I spoke with the recruiter and she said it depended on the hospital, but base pay is about $22.20-$22.70. Differentials depend on the hospital as well.

In other news, I recently accepted another offer so have withdrawn my application from TriStar, but best of luck to y'all!

That's so exciting! Where did you accept a job?

I applied to Tristar Hendersonville, and I had an interview in early March! The waiting game is literally the worst.

From what I've been told they are not allowed to officially offer until April 19th, which really draws out the process.
