I just discovered that TravelNurse Source site today. Other than the 6,000 calls & emails I immediately received after filling out my profile I really liked it. It's great the way you can just type in where you want to go & the jobs & companies pop up. Being new to travel it's been overwhelming trying to check out the websites of all the agencies I hear about & see what they've got.
Are there are other sites like this where you can look at several companies' job postings at once?
Thanks!
Amy :)

Big mistake to sign up on any job board as you have discovered. Now your email address (hopefully you didn't do your phone number) will be sold and resold forever with tons of spam. Not the best way to find agencies, even with the somewhat more reputable boards like Indeed and Monster.
All job boards post jobs but almost none of them are real. Rather they are "representative" of that agency's offerings at best. A few large agencies post real jobs on their website, but the only way to get full information about them is if you are signed up and logged in. The reason why real jobs are not posted is that it is just too much work. A good assignment that travelers actually want will be gone anyway by the time you do the application and rest of the documentation that all the agencies require before they can submit you for an actual open assignment.
Ah! Thanks. :)

Yeah, learned that the hard way myself 2 years ago. I submitted my info on travelnursing.com I think. I still get calls from agencies I have never contacted. I don't call them back, yet they keep calling, you'd think they'd take the hint?

They may get the hint if you change your phone number!
But I doubt it. If they have your name, some agency gnome may ferret out your current contact information.
So far no problems, not really. Just a lot of emails the first couple days. I actually didn't mind. It helped me see what's out there. I saved a few, deleted most & started a folder to compare agencies when I start traveling in Feb.
I like the idea of being able to just put where I want to go & the places offering those locations pop up. It's kind of overwhelming when you're new & you're going to all these websites.....they all start looking the same after awhile.
I appreciate the advice though. Everyone on here is so helpful. I'm learning a lot. :)
Changing my phone number is what I'm trying to avoid. Thankfully it's less than what it used to be.
