I had planned on traveling for at least the first semester of nursing school, but as I get closer to January and school starting-I wonder if it is smart? I will be traveling 1 hr each way and working fulltime. my work hours "should" change by the time school starts so that I will work nights or days on the days I don't have class?
Anyone else travel or know someone that traveled? how did you/they make it work or not?
I am beginning to stress this a bit.:uhoh21: any advise is welcome. I have purchased a digital recorder to listen and have more flash cards that one could shake a stick. thanks

Driving in snow is fun. I just hate it when people drive slow..
I drive slow when it's crappy out (I live in Michigan), you wouldn't like me.
Silly me, driving safe for road conditions and not wanting to cause an accident....
I've been driving for 20 years and never have gone in the ditch.

drove in very light snow yesterday on the interstate I'll travel. you see real quick who can't drive, who THINK they can drive and those that are smart enough to be on the road. people hitting brakes going down hill on bridges and skidding because they are 2 cars links back from traffic driving 70 mph! I lived in Idaho and Montreal, but some Arkansasans are a new breed of stupid in snow.

I will have a 50min-hour commute each way and I live in New England and we get tons of snow.
My husband and I just put new tires on my Jeep and I will have to be very mindful of the weather and plan ahead. But IMO, commuting to school is no different from the millions of Americans who commute to work everyday. Its just something that some of us have to do.
