My next assignment my son will be coming with me. It's going to be the school break but as of now the plans are theat he will live with me on the road long term and attend school online. Has anyone else done this before? Am I setting him and I both up for a disaster of some sort? His mother and sister are remaining at home since they both have no desire to see the country. He and I are both rambling souls evidently. Can anyone give me advice on making this an easier transition for both he and I?

I moved to vail last year. I didn't want to be somewhere for only a small period of time so I took a year contract on staff. I also decided to homeschool my son. My wife did come with us though. My son loves it. He snowboarded 140+ days this year, has straight a 's, gets to spend a ton of time with us and skipped a grade already. He should graduate before 16. He is 12 now. Keystone is the school we use.
I will look into that school, thanks. Right now we are in the process of signing him up with a Louisiana public school that is online. Have to see how that goes.
As long as its online and you put about 1 hour a day into it you and him will for great.
Also. Keystone has your teachers available for Skype or phone or email.... I was using Texas tech at first. He hated it....
