I'd guess at 10 he would need a day camp or something like that. Locally you can usually find them at community centers. A high school kid for a sitter works too.
I home school through "the keystone school" and it's very user friendly. Started his time with them at 11, 6th grade. It's quite easy to use. If you do this for long term just make sure that you get him in day camps or physical team sports to keep him active and social.

Hello all,
I am about to accept a travel assignment in Boston over the summer while my son is out of school so that the transition can be easily done,I do have a full time position at the moment but even tho I've heard it's not a good idea to travel over the summer due to low census but this is the best time for me to give travelling a shot. The main question is if any can answer for me, have any of you single parent ever travel with a child? and what and where is the best place to travel with young kids? thanks
