travel time to school

hello everyone, I was wondering how long do you travel to your school and how far do you travel to your clinical sites. I will be traveling 35miles away from my home to school, in california early ugly morning traffic, and clinicals will be up to 50 mile out away from school.

It's 50 miles one way from my driveway to my school. My clinical sites have been a little closer--about 45 miles, lol. The one good thing about having to be at clinical at 6:30 am or there till 9 pm is that the traffic is light, so I make good time. I listen to books on CD to keep me occupied.

wow the commuter is really living up to her name! i lived in vista california and i realized in cali you have to drive to get to where u want. people are driving 1.5 hours to work!

I haven't started classes yet, but I'm fortunate enough to have my school a 10 minute walk away and my clinical sights varying between a 10 min walk and a 5 minute drive through rural country roads.
