This is my second assignment. My first one was only 100 miles from home. I stayed in a hotel for the first 2 months and then picked this camper up for free from someone looking to get ride of storage fees..... Fortunately it runs great(electric and propane stuff). I have spend about 10 nights in it so far but am leaving tomorrow for a 3 month road trip on assignment with it. I will be in the PNW working a couple of days then hiking, biking or snowboarding the rest of the week.
The hospital I am going to has RV parking and hookups in their lot. I am hoping I can use them.
Anyone else out there cruising in an RV?

Fantastic... What a great way to go. We are looking at picking up a camper also, but we also use our Airstream.

This is definitely something I plan to do! First time traveler and I start in 2 weeks and so far all that money I THOUGHT I would be pocketing.....going down the drain to rent!!! Everything is at least 2grand/month it's ridiculous! If at all possible I'm going to try and find a decent RV before I leave hahaha
I'm starting my 5th week at my assignment and have been able to use the hospital RV lot without issue. I have stayed 1 night in a hotel so far in the past few months.

Awesome! I am traveling in a fifth wheel. My husband and I drove from Florida to Seattle, Washington. On my next assignment I will choose a city with RV parks a little closer to where I will be working. I'm not diggin' the (on bad days) hour commute to work. I'm lovin' the trailer life and I hope you will too. :)
