Relocating, Need Help With Advice On Moving Companies And Storage Companies!!!!

I know that if you are going to a hospital or company alot of times they will reimburse you if you specifically ask for that. Are you moving as part of a job? Are you a traveling nurse?

Something you may want to look into is called "POD" storage. They bring a large storage container (or 2 or 3)to your house, drop it off, you load it, they ship it to your new location and set it in front of your new residence on a prearranged date. You then unload it yourself and they come back to pick up the empty. We did this when two of my boys moved from CO to FL and the overall cost was about the same as a medium sized U-Haul, mileage for same and gas expenses. And they didn't have the headache of driving a U - Haul and towing a car.
