how to become a recruiter?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but I was wondering if anyone has knowledge on how to become a recruiter. No me but my wife. We travel on the road in our RV with me as a travel nurse and her as a stay at home wife (no kids). So basically she is bored, and we could use the extra income. We were thinking not full-time but maybe part time with just a handful of travelers. Hopefully with a smaller company. I know a couple where she is a travel nurse and he is a recruiter and they travel in a RV as well (on FB), but i'm not sure how he got started. I know most recruiters require a brick and mortar office. Any tips on who to contact or links to info? She has office/clerical, accounting, and marketing background.
