Immigration rules in most countries including the UK and the US require that you have a job. So you will in practice be limited to a single employer. Pick well! You might consider working directly for a hospital first. Travelers have to be ready to dive into an assignment with little orientation. Your language skills would have to be excellent, and you need to know local policies, practices, and procedures, including computer charting. That is tough enough for travelers from the same country. It is a recipe for failure if you try with your only experience from another country. Staff job is what I recommend.
Where are you from? Many countries have companies that specialize in helping you with immigration and nursing licensure to the UK or US and getting a job - typically they require a 18 month to 3 year commitment.

Hello! I am registered nurse for more than 3 years now and is also practicing, particularly an Operating Theatre Nurse. However, this time I want to venture to a new field which is Travel Nursing. Is this a good idea? I mean, Is this field nice to go into? I am quite so interested about engaging into it as I get to travel while working or vice versa. :) Do you have any idea how much does a travel nurse earn per month, specifically in the UK?
thanks.
