access nursing is horrible. the recruiters very closely resemble used car salesmen, and seem to care little if at all about the rns as individuals. i can;t comment on the benefits because i got coerced to take a higher hourly wage and told i could pick up benefits on my next assignment with a 2 weeks lapse. wrong. i took almost a month off and then was told that i couldn't get benefits until open enrollment, almost 1 year later ( i started in january). theonly positive about the company i have found in my near year experience and 3 contracts with an extension is that their housing has been near the facility and in a safe neighborhood.

Well I have been off for 5 weeks now, and just given up. I was promised I would be interviewed for this one in SD first and I was not. I have just went ahead and applied for positions at home instead. I can't wait around I am single, an this is for the birds. I could have extended an I was begged to extend. I would not because they never took care of the patient that sexually harassed me. The facility or my company, which was RTG Medical. But I was suppose to go directly to Kansas had accepted a position there. Under no fault of RTG, the licensing is very difficult to get there. They seem to lose checks for payments then they find any other reason to slow the process down, so I took myself off the assignment so they could get someone quicker because they were in dire need. So I am in the unemployment line!!!!! I am just fustrated as everyone I guess. My benefit package was very good, no complaints or against my recruiter. But would still take another assignment from them anytime. My advice to each an everyone when on an assignment extend till you have a another definite assignment that will be guaranteed. But these facilities do seem to cut assignments short or change your contracts at the very last minute. SO EVERYONE BEWARE!!!!!!!
