I've heard of people working in other countries through agencies... How do you find these agencies and get the foreign travel jobs?

Thanks!

Depends on where you want to work but you will have to meet that country's requirements first and if like the EU then as per EU requirements will find it hard to get a work permit allowing you to work.

Also may have a language exam to pass and the process to register in that country can take anything from 6 months upwards as a rough guide and even then no guarantee of work permit

OH ok thanks. My friend's mom (haven't seen them in a long time) had a job for a while working in a Saudi Palace (pre 9/11). She loved it so I was just curious how to go about even FINDING the jobs or agencies or whatever that handled that.

May find jobs advertised on websites or apply to hospitals in the country you want to work. You will need to meet their nursing requirements and may depend on type of training you have had ie length

google... o'grady peyton or sainternational. o'grady peyton is the international division of american mobile nurses. they are a huge travel nurse company in us. they have positions in saudi and also australia. they were very helpful. sainternational, it seems, just does saudi positions.
