Travel nursing jobs in Canada?

Does anyone have any experience as a travel RN in Canada, specifically Ontario? My boyfriend is moving there next June for an orthopedic surgery fellowship in London, and I would like to travel there with him. I'm hoping to take a temporary travel position but have had a hard time understanding if I'll be able to work there. Anyone know of a reputable travel company I could get in touch with?

A quick Google wasn't much help with agencies but I did find a reference to the process to getting a nursing license and job as taking from 8 to 16 months. If the fellowship is only one year, you may not want to bother and instead try for a job a couple hours away in Detroit or Buffalo.

Thanks Ned - I guess I found the same thing. I'm also working on my BSN currently and won't be finished until next May, just a couple of months before we wound head there. I think they require BSN ed. I'm wondering if I could work as an LPN or does that require another type of licensure here before I go too?

Minimum for practicing as an RN in Canada is BSN. There isn't really a travel nursing market in Canada like the US

LPN is an LPN license or RPN license depending on province. Canadian RPN/LPNs have a 2-year degree similar to ASN in US. Your RN education would have to be the same as Canadian LPN education. The CRPNE is given 3x a year as is the CRNE (Canadian LPN/RN licensing exam). You would have to have your application assessed and qualify to sit the licensing exam.

If you look at the Canadian Nursing forum you can see locals are having difficulty securing nursing jobs.
