Hello everyone! I am currently working as a travel nurse in a little town in Southern California. I'm looking for a new agency for several reasons and was hoping someone might be able to offer up some names of any good ones they've worked for or have heard about through friends/family. Any help would be appreciated immensely! If my nursing background would be helpful, I've been an RN for 4, going on 5 years, and have worked primarily in transitional care and rehab - mostly working with acute and subacute patients. I'm currently interested in branching out to possibly med-surg or tele/cardiac. Thank you!!!

Every agency has fans, including yours. What really matters your fit and relationship with your recruiter. The only way to find them is by talking to lots of recruiters. I'd bet a nickel you are unhappy with your current recruiter.
Switching to a new specialty as a traveler is tough. A hospital will have to be darned desperate to take you over those with proven specialty experience. It could happen, but it will not be a pleasant assignment. The best route to changing specialties is as a staff nurse.

I have seen post on FB for travel positions for the ED in So California that will consider new grads. Yes, I said new grads...Facility is willing to train a new grad probably wants longer than a 13 week commitment more like 6-9 months.
