Travel nurse wants intermediate fetal monitoring course

Hi Nurse Beth, I am a travel nurse and I am trying to find out who teaches the intermediate fetal monitoring course. Most of the instructors teach where they work and only to the employees. I am in Texas and I have looked and no luck.Hope you can help Thanks

I recommend going with AWHONN's (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses) Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring instructor-led course, a highly regarded, reputable program.

They have a Find a Course by Location search on their site, and the class is only one day long if you need to travel.

You could definitely try, but joining a hospital-sponsored course as a contracted employee can be challenging since hospitals usually negotiate group rates. The complex bureaucracy makes accommodating travelers difficult, even if you offer to pay in cash or the full price.
