Travel nurse-titers???

I am getting ready to start my first travel nurse job (Yeah!!!)..it seriously took long enough!! They are asking for titers from vaccinations??? Has anyone had to do that for facilities before? I thought getting your vaccinations was enough?? NO?

Requesting titers is common. Might as well run them all and get it over. They should be good forever, and will inform you of any need to get a booster. You really want to be hep B immune for example and immunity does wear off.

If you've ever worked staff at a hospital you've probably already had titers drawn upon employment. Check with the HIM departments and see. You might not even need to spend the money.
