Hi! I am an RPN in Ontario. I applied for reciprocity in Connecticut and got my license. There is an offer for me to work in a long-term care facility in CT. According to the facility, they will hire me as a travelling nurse. Is this possible since I am still a permanent resident and that I am also not an RN. So I do not need any visa anymore? Can anyone give me more info on how "travelling nurse" works? Thanks!

You will need to get a visa, there is no way you can work in the US without one. GC is under retrogression so TN is the next option but you need to be a RN for it and have visa screen certificate in hand. There are a few threads on TN (NAFTA) and some post requirements try searching for them
Thanks so much for the info..I appreciate it.
