travel med surg opportunities

are there many opportunities for med surg as a traveler? I see the specialties are in great demand but I dont want to work ed in a strange hospital. I've never traveled and I'm getting great tips here. I think I'd like a short med surg assignment to get my feet wet.

Plenty of opportunities as a med/surg nurse.

As much as people talk about the demand for certain specialties, med/surg and ICU are the biggest "bread and butter" of travel nursing assignments.

Check out the travel websites and look around.

If you can do ER, I'm sure that you could take telemetry assignments and this is another area with a lot of travel opportunities.

Yes, plenty of oppourtunities. Think of where you want to go, put together your needs list, and shop around for the right Travel Group and Recruiter.
