I am looking to sign up for a travel job in California and would like to get some feedback. How much do they typically pay? where would be a good spot? Any advice will be appreciated

Well, San Diego pays the least amount in Cali...but it's because everyone wants to be in SD! If you go there, I recomend Scripps Green..they treat thier staff and travelers well (I've heard most Scripps do), San Francisco pays well. I work at UCSF as a traveler and it's probably the best, but you get floated a lot..that's all I know about cali

thx for the feedback Carrie123

I work in Oceanside and get paid more than nurses at scripps green(my travel partner works there) and I live like 25 minutes from San Diego. I love it here..I'm from the East coast and only been here for 2 months. I def. recommend it!

I think you have to decide which part of Calif. you want to go to. I love LA. It's crowded and it has lots to offer but everyone is different. I also have some family there so that makes a huge difference for me.

I think it would be cool to do 3 13-week contracts in 3 different parts of the State to maximize the experience and also so you can decide which part you want to work in for next time.
