Transferring RN license to Colorado...I've a misdeameanor!

Has anyone dealt with the Colorado BON in having a non compact state license (IN) transferred to Colorado?

I've read the online app... Im a bit concerned as in 07 I plead bargained to a misdeameanor theft.

It was a very nasty divorce.. ex husband had repeatedly threatened me. He did not return my son to me from wknd visitation (as he had threatened). He threatened me next. I removed his crossbow, guns...dumped them into the river. They were never recovered.. he is a local cop...he filed charges (we were still married by the way.. just separated).

He has connecions... I don't. I pleaded to misdemenaor to keep from a trial. Paid resitution. Its been over almost 3 yrs.

There is no discipline to the IN license.

Anyone have any thoughts? I really don't want to explain all this stuff again. I know I'll have to answer honestly...I just want to start my life over in a different place

No advice but I would just call the then directly and just ask :) You could always not give your name and just ask tons of questions.
