Hey guys,
Long story short, I'll soon have a FL RN license. I'm thinking of applying to several hospitals in different states in the north east part of the country. What's the best way about going about this? Should I apply, wait for a job offer then transfer/endorse my license, or should I transfer it to a state and then just look around and hope I'll find something eventually?

You don't really transfer a license; it is endorsed to another state. You can hold licenses in as many states as you can afford/wish to. Depending on what states you are looking at, you may want to inquire about the average length of time to endorse a license- some states can take many weeks. It would probably be wise to have a license for a job offer prior to having it- some offerings may even be contingent on having a valid license for the state.
