I've had Anatomy 4 credits, Physiology 4 credits. I also have 3 credits of Intro to Anatomy (LPN level) and 1 credit of Micro (LPN level). Does anyone know if this is enough science or will I have to take a 2 credit Micro? I also have an 3 credit RN level pharmacology course if anyone has had something similar to that transfer into Excelsior. Thanks in advance if anyone can give me info.

I don't think they'll accept LPN level classes The anatomy, physiology and pharmacology courses should be no problem if you've taken them in the past 5 years.
The one way to get this info is to contact the college network or one of the for profit publishers. If you tell them you're interested they'll gladly go over your transcript and tell you what will be accepted, what won't, and exactly what you'll need to take. I didn't use one of the publishers but did get that info from them, no charge.
The only way to find out for certain what Excelsior will accept is to submit your transcripts to them for an evaluation and see what they say. You have to submit your transcripts anyway if you decide to enroll. Don't assume that the courses you describe as "LPN level" won't be accepted by Excelsior. If you took these courses at a community college, they just might transfer. The courses that don't transfer are usually from the proprietary schools. Good luck.

Hi! I'm trying to make this ever so popular decision of Excelsior or waiting another year for a community college.
I am really struggling with paying $75 to Excelsior to figure out what general education credits I need.

I know I'll probably end up paying the fee by the end of next week. If anyone has had similar courses to these transfer in, could you please let me know?
Thanks in advance if anyone can give me info.
