Transferring credits to CSN

Published

I'm thinking about taking A&P 2 over this summer at NSC hoping I can apply for the 2017 Spring program...but I'm worried that I'm not going to be able to transfer my credits on time. The application deadline is September 1st. Anyone that has transferred their credits from NSC to CSN, how long did the process take?

When it comes to applying with CSN nursing program just know that you have to have credits transferred AND evaluated in order for them to count on your application. When I applied I had taken A&P at the community college in Reno. It took like a week for CSN to receive them after grades posted which was like August 8th. By the time it was done being evaluated it was like September 20. CSN will tell you to allow 6 to 8 weeks to process your transcript evaluation. So if your course ends before July 1st you should be fine. August 1st...most likely not.

Ugh. This is discouraging because I'm hoping to do the same thing - taking A&P at UNLV over the summer.
