Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone transferred schools while in their nursing program. I am currently in the process and I am a little nervous. I just completed nursing i and will be transferring to a new school for nursing 2 because it is so much closer and cheaper than my current school. Has anyone else done this? How hard was it?

You're lucky to even find a program even willing to give you credit for your nursing 1 core classes. As far as how hard, that's a matter of perspective. I don't exactly understand what you're asking though. How hard is it to transfer school? How hard is block 2? How "hard" the program change will be? It's a very broad question.
What I was wondering was others experience with transferring nursing school.

Welcome!
My experiences with transferring is that many schools do not accept nursing transfer credits. They MIGHT accept you prerequisite credits but actual nursing is slim to none. They want the money themselves and they want you to learn their material.
What are you looking to transfer and to where?

You need to talk to a nursing adviser in the program you are planning to transfer to and ask them if your nursing school classes will transfer. If the adviser says they will transfer the nursing school credits, then get that confirmation in writing, either by email or pick up a letter. This is the only way to make sure you get the credit when you actually transfer.

And if they do allow you to transfer to their program from your first one, your experience will be just like that of any other student in any other major who transfers to a new school. You'll meet new people, learn the ropes of the new program, find the cafeteria and the bookstore, buy new uniforms, and continue your education. Good luck!
