transfering from one nursing program to accelerated

I am wondering if anyone know this question. I got my letter in the mail from my community college that my name is up on the waiting list I can start in August in the standard program (not accelerated). The thing is I am applying for accelerated programs elseware because I chose to do that instead. Most the applications aren't due until Oct, Nov, Dec etc.

If I start at my community college in August and just do one semester can I still transfer to an accelerated program and will those classes I took count? I been on the waiting list for almost 2 years so I dont want to pass this opportunity up, just incase I don't get into an accelerated program. (I have applied for University Of Oklahoma, Jacksonville University, UMass so far, just incase you have info on if the acceptance rate is high at any of those schools). I graduated with a 2.7 in Business Administration, currently have a 3.0 at the community college im attending this is my last semester (should be higher since I have A's in both my classes so far and they are not hard). So whats your thoughts? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
