I am looking for some information to create a policy for transabdominal amnioinfusion does anyone out there already have a policy for this?

WOW this is a new one for me. Never had seen or heard of this.
Yes I have been reading some research on this. very interesting used for antepartum mostly with pprom and oligo. Articles go back to 1996 so on one hand a new thing but also not.

Wow, we deal quite a bit with antepartums w/ pprom and/or oligo....but have never ever seen this. Interesting.

Haven't done this one. When I used to work in the big city medical center, we often took of a couple liters of fluid as necessary from the the hydroptic twin with twin/twin transfusion syndrome, but never did try putting any back for the oligo twin. It would be hard to place the needle with very little fluid surrounding the baby.
I'd like to hear more about this.
