I need help. I have a phone meeting with a nurse recruiter tomorrow. Hoe do I explain my TPAPN situation and still have any hope of getting the job?

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who doesn't know, but what is TPAPN?

Hope that helps!
Aaaahhhhhh!!! That explains it! Being a California girl, I'd never heard of it! Thanks!

I had a job lined up for 2 months. About 2 days before I was supposed to start I got the TPAPN letter and enrolled in the program. When I dropped the bomb my new boss she said she would work with me...but, would have to check with the DON of the hospital. Well, the next day they rescended the offer. They said because of my narcotic and call restrictions it wouldn't work out. Good luck to you though. Maybe you'll be fortunate enough to keep the job...but, it seems like most people don't. :heartbeat

never EVER tell the recruiter that you are in TPAPN. Only tell the person in charge of hiring. The person that will choose you to hire. The DON or the nurse manager... never EVER EVER tell the recruiter. You will not get past her if you do.
