I saw a nurse become very annoyed with a patient because the patient needed more information about what was going on with them not an unreasonable request, I thought. She was very short tempered and annoyed that the patient wanted an explanation on their condition, in the E.R. I myself became very angry at the nurse because I thought that she was very rude and arrogant. I tried to sympathize with the nurse, maybe she is stressed out or maybe she is just having a bad day. But what of the patient, they were really have a bad day literally. I know that nurses are human, but dont they realize that when someone is sick they dont need the bad attitude of the uncaring nurse either. I will forever be conscious of how I am perceived by the patient. I quess her bad attitude and toxic behavior taught me a valuable lesson.
