Towson University Nursing Spring 2020

Hello everyone!

This thread is for those who are applying for Towson University Nursing program for Spring 2020! The deadline to submit the application is August 15th. All other materials should be submitted by September 1st.

I just submitted my completed BSN application as well as other materials. I've heard that the admission letters will be released around October. If you guys hear anything regarding the admission. Please share it with us here!

My TEAS score is 85.3%, Science GPA is 4.0, and Overall GPA is 4.0.

Please share your TEAS Results, Science GPA, and Overall GPA.

Yes I do but we can't set up the castlebranch document tracker yet. The clinical coordinator will send us individual emails after she finalizes how many student will confirm to attend this Spring and return the statement of intent. It might take several days. She will send us the code we will need to set it up and start with it.

What I am doing now is just completing all other requirements while waiting for the code. Like the vaccinations, , flu shots and etc.

Do you know how we are supposed to join the nursing community on blackboard to do the quizzes on there?

Yes. Actually we won't be able to access it yet. We have to wait until the nursing department declare our major. I just received my confirmation yesterday saying they received mt statement of intent. We should automatically have it in the blackboard. Try to check it once in a while. just go to Blackboard then Community. Click Nursing Community and go to the Competencies folder. All 3 trainings should be there.

I just checked my blackboard and it's not there yet. It will probably take a while but it should be under community tab.

Yes, the white coat ceremony is the same day as the nursing program orientation. Did you receive your schedule packet yet? The date should be there. ?

Yes i did. Brooke necker said there is no white coat ceremony that day. She said the program is changing things up.
