Hi all,
How much will it cost to go to UCHSC? I believe I heard that it is $239 per credit hour. How many credit hours is there for the whole program?
Thanks.

I believe it's 60 credit hours (I should know this by now...really I should) and it's $239 per hour. You can add on $150 - $200 in fees per semester, parking and books. So far this semester I've paid (tuition, parking, books) around $3000. Multiply that by 5 semesters, you're looking at about $15,000.

Thank you so much for looking into this for me. I really appreciate it. Good luck with your studies!:)

Actually this is the official cost per credit, you can link onto the website. http://www2.uchsc.edu/son/sonweb.asp?section=education&LNav=education/LNav/educationLNav.asp&content=education/content/tuition_and_fees.htm
However, now there is the colorado opportunity fund which takes off about 1500 dollars each semester. From the website there are 67 credits. This is the traditional program of study link

Also, you have to pay for health insurance if you dont have any and its about 2,200 through the school.
Definitely, apply for scholarships through the school and through private scholarship funds, and any emails sent by the school. I have received over 10,000 dollars for my nursing program through different scholarships because I apply to everything! If you want more info just let me know.

Thanks for the links. It looks to be $239 per credit hour with the opportunity fund.
Denverchick - I'd love more info about scholarships in the area. I've only found a few and they require a huge commitment to certain facilities and they only cover about one semester worth of fees/tuition.
