Hello! Just had my interview and it dawned on me that they didn't ask my preference for nights or days, did they ask you this?

I asked when I interviewed with the HR manager. She said it's really up to the units where you'll be placed and what's available. I'll just be happy to get a job. I don't have a strict preference.

HR told me the med math test is after the interview and when they decide to hire you.

I was told the same thing, but there were a couple people doing the math test today.

hi all,

I was called for an interview today for Burn ICU this upcoming Friday. HR called and said to expect a math test before the exam.

Anyone who already completed an interview, may I please have more information regarding what kind of questions: clinical/behavioral, the length, and how may copies of portfolio did you bring with you? The email also inquired some of performance evaluation, work-wise? May I ask what you brought with you, please?

My questions were basically the same as the ones I was asked on Friday- no clinical scenarios. Once I got there HR told me I'd be called back to take the math test if I got an offer. Has anyone heard back from HR since their second interview?

2. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

3. What was the sickest patient you have ever had and how did you care for them?

4. Describe a time you failed. What did you do in that situation?

5. Do you have any questions for us?

HR Manager Interview Questions

1. Why Torrance Memorial?

2. Have you ever been fired from a job before?

3. Are you eligible for rehire from all your previous employers?

4. Have you ever been written up before?

5. You must commit to two years full time in the position that you are hired in. Are you okay with this? Please sign this contract.

Make sure you bring extra copies of your resume, letters of recommendation, unofficial transcripts, licenses and certifications.

No. HR manager specifically told me she would be calling or emailing by this Friday.

No I haven't been called or emailed yet. I'm sure they're sticking to their Friday schedule.

I was told that I'd get a call by Friday from HR if I was selected. I got a call back today, the same day as my 2nd interview, from who I believe was the manager (1 of 5 people on the panel) telling me I was selected. She told me to expect a call from HR Friday. I interviewed for Onc.

Didn't have to wait until Friday! I got a call from HR today & accepted the offer. Next is the reference checks, background check, & drug screen. They only give you two days from when you get the screening email to complete the drug test just fyi. So excited to start on 2/26!
