  1. No I haven't been called or emailed yet. I'm sure they're sticking to their Friday schedule.
  2. HR told me the med math test is after the interview and when they decide to hire you.
  3. Oh I'm so glad someone else on this thread interviewed with PCU. I'm so anxious for a call or email back. I'm staring at my phone so often and refreshing my email like a crazy person lol.
  4. I'm not sure about other units, but for telemetry they said they're going to hire 8 new grads.
  5. The second round of interviews are usually panel interviews with around 4-6 people. I would reccomend bringing a portfolio with your documents and 2-3 more resumes. They will ask clinical questions but nothing too heavy like antidotes to meds or step by step nursing care. The manager for the PCU told me they're more questions that would suggest our nursing process and how we think as nurses. And from what others have told me, this is the last round of interviews.
  6. There was a slow trickle of people towards the end (when I went). I was talking to recruiters and they start the background checks on individuals and RN licenses next week since the cohort start is around February 26. So those who didnt have their RN license already were pretty much turned down immediately. But good luck to everyone with interviews!
  7. I was constantly checking my status. My status for the San Pedro branch says: "Interview Step - Scheduled" while the other hospitals says: "Thank you for speaking with us!" I'm sure other hospital branches get through the applications on their own speed, but I'm sending good vibes your way!
  8. I applied to four Providences (San Pedro, Torrance, Torrance hospice, and Santa Monica) and I got a call yesterday. At first the recruiter did a telephone interview, which lasted about 20 minutes. Afterwards, she scheduled me for an interview next week for the Medical/Surgical unit. I applied on May 23.
  9. Thank you for the info! My registration date is in July and I'm really excited for it :)
