Hey guys,
Right now I'm on the hunt for some good scissors. I had a great kind, but not sure of the brand (a paramedic had left them behind when I call 911 once. Pt was ok back on his vent and recovering and I got free scissors yay). These weapons ones were stolen when my old apt was broken into.. anyways
Does anyone have a really good brand of scissors they use? I want to try and find pink ones online. I just read a bad review about the prestige "EMT" style scissors. So now I doubt everything on Amazon lol.
For now I have some regular ones but they honestly suck I have to cut everything twice. They work for now at least.
Suggestions please :)

Miltex, expensive but well worth the price, made in Germany. one pair i have is about 20 yrs old used for several years as a paramedic and then as an auto mechanic for years after that, never had to sharpen them. only had to tighten the hinge rivet once. (use a hammer and a rivet punch). and they still cut a penny in half no problem

The price is really good, I just ordered another pair in case mine grow legs... I ordered the cheaper version at about $6 to compare to the $17 dollar version which only come in black handles and have the needle cutter notch on them.
Just an update, I got my order, the difference between the $6 an $17 ones are that the cheap ones are made in Pakistan and the others are made in Germany. the action (pivot) is a bit smoother on the German ones. I got Orange handles on the cheap ones and I think the German ones have better quality handles. I did do the penny cut test with the cheapos and they passed with flying orange and copper colors. No twisting of the blade and letting the penny slip between and the handles did not break. Blade is super sharp on both. So my recommendation is get 3 pairs of V95-1026 Miltex in the color of your choice. Then it's not so depressing if they grow legs and walk off. I would guess the more expensive 5-1000 models have better quality stainless too. Overall, they are much better quality than most cheap shears.
