Took my test last Tuesday and STILL no results!

I took the NCLEX-RN last Tuesday and STILL NOTHING! I'm from California and usually the results are up between 2-3 days. I've been checking every day since Thursday and am really worried. I tried calling the BRN to make sure they received my transcripts but the line was busy. I read somewhere that they randomly select 1% of test-takers to manually grade their exams - is this true and is that what could be holding things up?

I had to answer ALL 265 questions and got TONS of teaching/effective questions and priority. I know that the types of questions is not indicative of whether I passed or failed, but the wait is KILLING me!

I am a spiritual person, and continue to pray every day (every hour) that things will turn out fine. Any positive and/or realistic thoughts will be much appreciated. Thanks everybody!

If you get your results 2-3 days, well you're very lucky. California does not participate in quick result so I guess you have to wait.... just hang in there. As far as I know, 5 days is the minimum and it could even take up to 2-4 weeks. I had to wait for 14 days to get mine and the greatest news of all was finding out that I passed. Hopefully you'll get to share the good news with us soon!

Hi, I'm from TN and they didn't participate in quick results it took about 1 week and 3 days to get a pass, it's been a week for you, so try to wait a little longer, I know what the feeling is like to wait for no results

Hang in there velvet126. I took my test on 7/19 and found out two weeks later that I passed. I was convinced I'd failed because, like you, most of my friends found out within 2-3 days. I was with my family on vacation in Hawaii and I was waking up in the middle of the night worrying and feeling humiliated thinking that I would have to come home and tell everyone that I'd failed. Here I was in Hawaii -- paradise -- and I was miserable!

Don't give up hope. My school Fedex'd my transcripts on 7/13, but they weren't processed by the CA BRN until 8/1. They've probably got piles of them to go through.
