...and the natural science section was hard. I don't know if they expect you to actually know all of that stuff, or if many of those questions are supposed to be answered by looking at the options and picking one that logically seems the only fit. I've heard others on here say that they were certain that they failed, only to find out they received a 98 on the science. I am soo hoping that happens to me. The first two sections I thought were easy, especially the verbal/math section.
Does anyone else know if the scores are based on your percentage correct or percentiles? The website says percentiles, but I asked the woman who was administrating the test and she said that I was "thinking of something else". I'm not sure she knew what she was talking about, or what I was asking though.
Now I just gotta start the rest of the application procress for Shadyside. I'm so happy to have the test part over and will feel so relieved once I'm done with the application process, though I'm sure I will be going crazy waiting to hear if I got in or not LOL.
hi liz
thanks for letting me know. i'm sure you got a lot more right than you think. i studied none of that science and did better than i thought. i know - it was very random. i thought for sure i failed and i didn't so if you felt it was ok - then i'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised.
good job!!! let me know next week :-)

Liz, did you ever get your results?
I got mine today and was pleasantly surprised like Kim said - 98 in vocab, 99 in math and reading comprehension, and 94 in natural science. I didn't really study and I the natural science was harder than I'd anticipated, so I didn't expect to do well. Now I can continue my application to Shadyside :dancgrp:(haha, I can't believe this icon exists)

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy, you did absolutely fantastic. What excellent scores - love your icon and now, let us know when you get accepted to Shadyside :-)
I did pretty well, too! Better in Science than I expected. Sadly, I didn't do too well in the LPN part -- but that's ok, because I'd really like to get my RN -- that program is closed for fall at my local school, so I'm hoping to get into LPN and transfer. I'm supposed to hear from the school in the next few weeks about coming in to discuss my scores -- so we'll see.
Good luck!

I don't know for fact but you have to go to LPN school to learn to be an LPN so maybe scoring not so great in that area won't affect you getting in. Good luck to you too!!!

Hi Kim,
So the test was easier than I expected. I'm sure I got plenty wrong, but I don't feel that I was disadvantaged for not studying so much. A lot of it seemed so random. I was frustrated because twice I had the (right) answer for the last question, but ran out of time. We get our results next week.
Thanks for your help!
